Miss Preston’s Charity Raffle Night
On Sunday I attended Leigh Osgerby (Miss Preston)’s Charity raffle in aid of The Variety Club. I was overwhelmed by the support Leigh received from her friends, family and general public, selling around 1000 tickets at £1 each! A fantastic achievement for the charity; which wasn’t surprising considering the prizes included a signed Blackpool football, night away and a Pandora bracelet.
I had my eye on some china cups, but as usual in raffles my luck did not shine through and I left empty handed! However I was pleased with the amount of awareness and funds raised for the charity and had a lovely evening with Leigh. :0)
