This weekend I was honoured to be invited to help out at the prestigious and favoured Lytham Club Day!! I was even more thrilled to be joined on my travels by my good friend and newly crowned Miss Preston, Leigh Osgerby.
I had a fantastic time doing the parade and collecting change for the club day fund… it was great to meet lots of people from Lytham, especially children who loved my crown!! It was also a beautiful day on the Fylde, the sun was shining, lots of ice cream and summery dresses!
I was also invited down to Lowther Pavilion to meet the newly crowned Rose Queens and take part in an interview with Maria Felix Vas from BBC Radio Lancashire. The new Rose Queens were fab… really confident and poised! I was asked to give them some tips, but in all honesty I was in awe of how together they were even though they had just won! Another brilliant weekend :0)
