Charity Night in Bolton
Last Saturday I was treated to a night out in Bolton, helping Noopur Sharma (Miss Charity Bolton) raise funds for The Variety Club.
After enjoying a lovely curry with Noopur’s very supportive family, we were lucky enough to meet her old colleagues who have been partly responsible for her phenomenal success in the public votes.
We were then whisked to the J2 Club which was hosting Noopur’s Charity night. After meeting the staff and having some promotional photographs with the other “Miss’s”, were shown our VIP area. The highlight of the night for me however had to be dancing the night away to very cheesy music with Miss Southport.
This was my first visit to Bolton…I was really impressed! Everybody we met was very welcoming and eager to show off their home city to its full potential. I have to add that the local Tesco superstore was the most impressive I have seen- I will be writing to my Blackpool store to encourage a recycling unit like Bolton’s ASAP!! :0)
